We currently only offer in-person, cash-only foreign exchange. Customers are able to visit one of our two locations in the GTA. If you are looking to purchase foreign currency for your next vacation or are interested in speculative markets, My Currency Shoppe can assist you.
We do not offer any additional service such as online currency exchange, wire transfer or travel money cards. Customers are also required to bring government-issued identification such as a driver's license or passport for transactions over $2900 CAD. We operate during normal business hours, and customers are welcome to visit during these times to exchange their currency.

There are no fees to exchange currencies at our shop.  Our goal is to provide you with a convenient and affordable way to exchange your currency.  We believe that our customers should be able to exchange their currency without having to worry about hidden costs.

We only provide in person services, our physical locations allow you to meet with knowledgeable staff who can assist you with your currency needs and answer any questions you may have. In addition, exchanging currency in person provides you with the opportunity to handle and inspect your currency before leaving the shop, giving you peace of mind.

The foreign exchange market is continuously changing, and exchange rates can fluctuate rapidly. At My Currency Shoppe, we strive to provide you with the most accurate exchange rate. To get the latest rate for a specific currency we recommend you give us a call at 416-596-7601

Our shops operate during normal business hours and you can visit us during those hours.  Our hours are meant to be convenient for our customers.  However, please note that our hours may vary by location and we recommend that you check the locations page or give the nearest branch a call to confirm the hours of operation.

For compliance with regulatory requirements, we require identification for transactions over $2900 CAD, we require a government issued form of ID such as a driver license or passport. This is a standard requirement for the industry.

Yes, you can place an order in advance for a specific currency. If you have an upcoming trip or other specific need, we can help you secure the amount you need. To place an order simply call or visit one of our locations. We do require orders to be paid for in advance. We can secure the amount you need, when you need it.

We do not offer delivery service. All currency exchange transactions must be completed in person at one of our tlocations.  This allows you to speak with knowledgeable staff who can answer all the questions you may have and gives you the opportunity to  inspect your currency before leaving the shop.

Right now, our exchange services are limited to the currencies listed on our website.  This means we can only accept or sell the currencies specified. This ensures that we can provide you with the best possible service and competitive exchange rates for the currencies we offer.
